Verity — Terms
Last updated: October 1, 2026 (test release)
These terms are between you and Kestra [legal name and state of incorporation] ("we"), which runs Verity as a test product. By signing in you agree to them. The Privacy page says what we read and keep; it is part of these terms.
1. What Verity is, and is not
Verity reads what you connect — your mail, your documents, your account feed — and keeps a record it can show you line by line. It never sends an email, never moves money and never files anything; you and your advisers do those.
Verity is not investment, tax or legal advice. It shows you what your documents say and asks questions; your advisers decide. A "check" is a second look you can forward — every difference is phrased as a question with its source. Nothing is final until a professional says so. Documents Verity drafts for you are labeled "for your lawyer to review" and are not final instruments.
2. A test, by invitation
Verity is in a test. You use it by invitation, for your own household, and you must be at least 18. We may change, pause or end the test; if we end it, you get at least 30 days' notice and a full export first.
3. Price
Verity charges nothing and will not charge you without a new agreement that you accept separately.
4. Your data
Your data is yours. You give us permission to read, store and process it only to run Verity for you, as the Privacy page describes. You can export it or leave at any time; when you leave, we delete it as the Privacy page says. You are responsible for having the right to connect the accounts and documents you connect (for example, a trust's statements if you act for the trust).
5. What you agree not to do
Use Verity for a household you are not entitled to act for; try to read another household's data; probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service; or use it to break any law.
6. Accuracy, and its limits
Verity shows its sources so you can check them, and it says "not known yet" rather than guessing. Even so, it can misread a document, miss one, or draw a wrong conclusion. You and your advisers are responsible for every decision, filing and payment. Verity is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of Verity, and our total liability for any claim is limited to US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where they do not, the limits apply to the extent permitted.
8. Ending
You can leave at any time from Settings. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, with notice and an export unless the breach makes that unsafe.
9. Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, you will see it on your Home page before it takes effect, and you can leave before it does.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [the state of incorporation], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the courts of that state.
